Chamberlain · model MYQ-G0401-ES · For the US and Canada

- Apple Home Unconfirmed
- Google Home Unconfirmed
- Amazon Alexa Unconfirmed
- SmartThings Unconfirmed
- Home Assistant No
Chamberlain's myQ Smart Garage Control adds app control to a garage door opener you already own, over Wi-Fi with Bluetooth for setup. It handles one door, and a second with the separate MYQ-G0402 sensor. myQ's partner list leaves out Apple Home, Google, Alexa and SmartThings, so we can't confirm any of them, and Home Assistant dropped its integration in 2023 after Chamberlain blocked third-party access; Amazon Key in-garage delivery is supported.

| Home Assistant | No | Home Assistant removed its myQ integration in release 2023.12 after Chamberlain blocked third-party app access. Home Assistant recommends the local ratgdo device instead, which is separate hardware.[3] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.

- Radio: Chamberlain's page lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; setup runs through the myQ app with Bluetooth Low Energy.
- Hub: Chamberlain's page doesn't say whether a separate hub is needed.
- Local control: Chamberlain's page doesn't describe local control; the myQ service is cloud-based.
- Type: Connects to an opener you already have. Chamberlain lists compatible brands made after 1993 with photo-eye safety sensors that don't shut off: Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Craftsman, Genie, Overhead Door, Guardian, Stanley SecureCode and Wayne Dalton, with year ranges on its page.
- Doors per unit: One door out of the box; Chamberlain says a second door can be monitored and controlled with the separate MYQ-G0402 door sensor.
- Door position sensor: Chamberlain's page sells a sensor for the second door (MYQ-G0402) and links a door sensor quick start guide, but doesn't list the box contents, so we haven't confirmed the first sensor or how it connects.
- Power: The page lists one included lithium metal battery but not what it powers, so we haven't set a power source.
