Zigbee motor for curtains on a rod, U-rail or I-rail, with a built-in 6000 mAh battery charged over USB-C. It needs an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, sold separately, and then appears in Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa through that hub. Aqara also lists SmartThings and Home Assistant on one product page.

Ecosystem compatibility
| Platform | Works? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Matter | Unconfirmed | The driver itself is Zigbee, not Matter. Aqara's EU store page says Matter comes through an OTA update of Aqara hubs; no CSA listing names the driver.[1] |
| Apple Home | Via Aqara hub | Aqara's EU pages list Apple Home; the driver connects through an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub.[1],[2] |
| Google Home | Via Aqara hub | Aqara's EU pages list Google Home; the driver connects through an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub.[1],[2] |
| Amazon Alexa | Via Aqara hub | Aqara's EU pages list Amazon Alexa; the driver connects through an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub.[1],[2] |
| SmartThings | Via Aqara hub | Aqara's EU product page lists SmartThings as supported; the eu.aqara.com store page leaves it out of its list. Every route needs an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, and Aqara doesn't say which integration SmartThings uses.[2] |
| Home Assistant | Via Aqara hub | Aqara's EU product page lists Home Assistant as supported; the eu.aqara.com store page leaves it out. Aqara doesn't say which route (for example the hub's HomeKit or Matter bridge), and no Home Assistant doc names this driver.[2] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.
Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: Zigbee 3.0. The spec sheet gives the model number CM-M01.
- Hub: Aqara says an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required (sold separately) and that other brands' hubs are not compatible.
- Local control: No Aqara page seen says whether it works without internet.
- Moves: Rod version; Aqara says it also fits U-rail and I-rail tracks. Rods must be 25–32 mm thick and the same thickness end to end: no telescopic or extendable rods.
- Fits your existing curtain or blind: Motor that fits your existing curtains.
- Power: Built-in 6000 mAh lithium-ion battery, not replaceable, charged over USB-C; it can also run constantly from USB-C power. Aqara quotes up to a year per charge, depending on curtain weight and track.
