Alexa and Google Home are listed, Home Assistant has a built-in integration, and a Matter bridge passes some sensors to Apple Home. It connects by Ethernet or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and has a microSD slot (up to 512 GB) for camera recordings.

| Matter | Unconfirmed | No CSA listing for the hub itself found. TP-Link says the hub can bridge Sub-1G devices to Matter controllers; see matterBridge. |
| Apple Home | Via Matter | Through the hub's Matter bridge, added from Apple Home (iOS 18 or later) with an Apple home hub. TP-Link's UK page names Apple Home among the Matter platforms; its UK Matter FAQ says bridged Sub-1G devices include the T100, T310, T315 and S220, but not buttons.[1],[2] |
| Google Home | Yes | TP-Link's UK page says the hub works with Google Home (and Alexa) when connected to Tapo cameras, sensors or Sub-1G switches. Matter bridging is also offered.[1] |
| Amazon Alexa | Yes | TP-Link's UK page says the hub works with Alexa when connected to Tapo cameras, sensors or Sub-1G switches. Matter bridging is also offered.[1] |
| SmartThings | Unconfirmed | The pages we saw don't mention SmartThings. It may work through the Matter bridge, but that isn't confirmed. |
| Home Assistant | Yes | Home Assistant's built-in TP-Link Smart Home integration lists the H200 as a hub and the Tapo sensors under hub-connected devices; it polls locally. The page doesn't confirm every child device for the H200 specifically.[4] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.

- Radio: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi plus an Ethernet cable in the box. The sensors and switches talk to the hub on a separate Sub-1G radio (863-868 MHz for UK/EU), which is not in our radio list.
- Hub: It is the hub: the Tapo sensors, switches and some cameras connect through it.
- Local control: Home Assistant's integration polls it locally (every 5 seconds) without the TP-Link cloud. The hub also records camera video to a microSD card of up to 512 GB (sold separately).
- Connects devices over: Sub-1G radio (863.35, 864.35 and 868.35 MHz in the UK/EU). TP-Link doesn't name the protocol and doesn't say Zigbee.
- Matter bridge: TP-Link's Matter FAQ for Tapo hubs names the T100, T310, T315 and S220 as bridged; its community guide names the H200 and adds the T110. Buttons (S200B, S200D) and the T300 leak sensor are not bridged.
- Thread border router: No Thread claim on the pages we saw.
- Max devices: TP-Link states up to 64 Sub-1G devices (switches, sensors, buttons) plus 4 cameras or video doorbells, two separate limits, so no single number is recorded.
Before you buy
- Matter bridging covers only some sensor types; TP-Link's FAQ says the buttons (S200B, S200D) are not bridged.
- The sensors use a Sub-1G radio, not Zigbee, so Zigbee devices can't pair with it.
- TP-Link states 64 Sub-1G devices and 4 cameras as separate limits, and multi-control devices count as several.
