• Radio: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth LE. The CSA listing gives Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; GE's spec sheet (model CPLGSTDBLW1, no Matter mentioned, so possibly the older version) says the same.
• Hub: GE says no hub is required; it connects to Wi-Fi and is set up in the Cync app or a Matter app.
• Local control: GE's spec sheet lists 'Local Control via BLE', but it doesn't mention Matter and may describe the older version. Local control of the Matter version isn't confirmed.
• Energy monitoring: GE's pages and spec sheet don't mention power metering, but we found no explicit statement either way.
• Max load: GE's store lists 1800 W / 15 A and the spec sheet says 15 A general use, 1/3 HP, but we couldn't tie a watt figure to the Matter version's own page.
