Meross MSS110 (HomeKit, US): what it works with
Meross · model MSS110 (MSS110HK / MSS110US, HomeKit version) · For the US and Canada (US, CA)
- Matter Unconfirmed
- Apple Home Yes
- Google Home Yes
- Amazon Alexa Yes
- SmartThings Yes
- Home Assistant Unconfirmed
Native HomeKit is the reason to pick the Meross MSS110 (sold as MSS110HK): it pairs straight into Apple Home over Wi-Fi without going through Matter or a bridge. Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings work too, each by linking your Meross account. It's a US/Canada plug rated 15 A / 1800 W, and it doesn't track energy use.

Ecosystem compatibility
| Platform | Works? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Matter | Unconfirmed | The MSS110 pages describe HomeKit, not Matter. Meross's Matter mini plug is the separate MSS115. We found no explicit statement either way for the MSS110. |
| Apple Home | Yes | HomeKit (HAP) over Wi-Fi; the HomeKit unit is sold as MSS110HK (US/CA). Remote control needs an Apple home hub (HomePod, Apple TV or iPad).[1],[2] |
| Google Home | Yes | Through the Meross 'Works with Google Home' account link; add the plug in the Meross app first.[1],[3] |
| Amazon Alexa | Yes | Through the Meross Alexa skill, linked to your Meross account.[1],[4] |
| SmartThings | Yes | Meross's MSS110US page lists SmartThings. It connects by linking your Meross account in the SmartThings app (cloud to cloud), per Meross's generic SmartThings FAQ.[1],[5] |
| Home Assistant | Unconfirmed | No official Meross integration in Home Assistant. Forum users report pairing it via the HomeKit Device integration or the community Meross LAN add-on, but no official page names this model. |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.
Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only; Meross says Enterprise Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Hub: Joins your existing 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly; no bridge needed. An Apple home hub is only needed for remote HomeKit control.
- Local control: HomeKit accessories normally work over the LAN, but we found no Meross page that states local control for this model.
- Energy monitoring: Meross's US/JP MSS110 page lists Energy Monitor: No. For metering, Meross sells other models (e.g. the MSS315).
- Max load: Meross rates the US/CA/JP version at 15 A / 1800 W.
Before you buy

- Meross doesn't say whether the MSS110 supports Matter; its Matter mini plug is the separate MSS115.
- Home Assistant has no official Meross integration.
