Opening a door, window, cabinet, fridge or mailbox is what the Tapo T110 (EU) contact sensor reports, with a magnet gap of up to 15 mm. It needs a Tapo Hub, talks to it over sub-1 GHz and uses a CR2032 coin cell. Its product page and TP-Link's Matter FAQs name no Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa or SmartThings support; Home Assistant lists it as a hub-connected device.

Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: The Nordic page lists an 868 / 922 MHz sub-1 GHz link to the Tapo Hub (868 MHz in the EU), which is not in our radio list.
- Hub: The Nordic page lists Hub Required: Yes and says the Tapo Hub is sold separately; the datasheet says the same.
- Local control: Not confirmed from an official source.
- Senses: Detects a door, window, cabinet, fridge or mailbox opening, with a magnet gap of up to 15 mm.
- Power: The Nordic page says over 1 year at 60 triggers a day; the datasheet says 2 years at 30 a day.
Before you buy
- Needs a Tapo Hub; the sensor does not work on its own.
- TP-Link's Matter FAQs don't name the T110 among the devices a Tapo hub can bridge, so Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings are unconfirmed.
