Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: Eve's US page lists Thread; the CSA listing gives Thread and Bluetooth as transports.
- Hub: No Eve bridge is needed. Eve says it needs a hub that supports Thread and Matter (a Thread border router and Matter controller from your platform), not a brand hub.
- Local control: Eve says there is no Eve cloud and schedules are stored on the motor; Matter over Thread runs on the local network.
- Moves: Two motors: one for 25 to 30 mm tubes and one for 38 to 51 mm tubes. Eve says IKEA and Hunter Douglas blinds can't take the large-tube motor.
- Fits your existing curtain or blind: This record covers the Upgrade Kit motor for existing roller blinds. Eve also sells made-to-measure Eve Blinds in the US; those are not covered.
- Power: Built-in battery charged over USB-C. Eve's February 2026 release rates the small-tube motor at up to a year of typical use.
