Blind Tilt in the UK turns the tilt rod of a venetian blind you already have, running on a 2,000 mAh rechargeable battery that solar charging can top up. The SwitchBot app works over Bluetooth. A SwitchBot Hub adds voice control, and a Hub 2 bridges it to Matter for Apple Home.

Ecosystem compatibility
| Platform | Works? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Matter | Unconfirmed | Not Matter-certified itself. SwitchBot lists it under Matter over Bridge, which needs a Matter-enabled SwitchBot hub (Hub Mini Matter Enabled, Hub 2, Hub 3 or AI Hub). No CSA listing names the Blind Tilt.[2] |
| Apple Home | Via SwitchBot Hub 2 | The UK page says that with a Hub 2 (sold separately) it supports Matter and works with Apple HomeKit. SwitchBot lists it under Matter over Bridge; its Matter guide says a HomePod or Apple TV is needed as the Matter controller.[1],[2],[3] |
| Google Home | Via SwitchBot Hub | The UK page says Google Home voice control needs a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately); it does not name a model.[1] |
| Amazon Alexa | Via SwitchBot Hub | The UK page says Alexa voice commands need a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately); it does not name a model.[1] |
| SmartThings | Via SwitchBot Hub | The UK page lists SmartThings with a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately). SwitchBot's Matter guide names Hub Mini Matter Enabled, Hub 2, Hub 3 and AI Hub as Matter bridges for SmartThings.[1],[3] |
| Home Assistant | Yes | The official SwitchBot Bluetooth integration lists Blind Tilt (WoBlindTilt) and adds a cover entity. It needs Bluetooth on the Home Assistant host, no SwitchBot hub.[4] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.

- Local control: Home Assistant's SwitchBot integration is Local Push and controls it over Bluetooth with no hub. SwitchBot's own page does not mention internet-free use.
- Moves: Tilts the slats of an existing horizontal-slat (venetian) blind to the nearest 2 degrees. The page lists no compatible slat or rod sizes.
- Fits your existing curtain or blind: Fits onto the tilt rod of a blind you already have, so the blind is not replaced.
- Power: Built-in 2,000 mAh lithium battery with solar charging. The UK page says it includes a solar panel, but it gives no box contents and SwitchBot's EU store says the panel is sold separately, so check what the pack contains. No battery life is stated.
Before you buy
