Tapo H100 (UK) is the hub for TP-Link's Tapo sensors and buttons: up to 64 of them link over a separate 868 MHz radio, while the hub itself joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Home Assistant has a built-in integration for it. Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa are not confirmed, because TP-Link says Matter bridging is not available for the H100 yet.

| Platform | Works? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Matter | Unconfirmed | CSA lists a TP-Link Systems Smart IoT Hub (family SKU H100, Matter 1.1, Wi-Fi), but TP-Link's UK Matter FAQ says H100 compatibility is not yet available. The official sources disagree, so it is not recorded as certified.[3],[4] |
| Apple Home | Unconfirmed | TP-Link says H100 Matter bridging is not yet available, so nothing is confirmed.[3] |
| Google Home | Unconfirmed | The UK page does not mention Google Home. |
| Amazon Alexa | Unconfirmed | The UK page does not mention Alexa for the hub. |
| SmartThings | Unconfirmed | No page found mentions SmartThings for the H100. |
| Home Assistant | Yes | Home Assistant's TP-Link Smart Home integration lists the H100 and H200 as hubs.[5] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.

- Radio: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The UK page and datasheet do not mention Ethernet. Tapo devices link to the hub on a separate 868 MHz radio not in our radio list.
- Hub: It is the hub that Tapo sensors and buttons connect to.
- Local control: The UK page says Smart Actions keep working when the internet is down, with no cloud required. Home Assistant's integration also connects locally, without the TP-Link cloud, polling every 5 seconds; setup needs your TP-Link account login.
- Connects devices over: 868 MHz low-power link to Tapo devices; TP-Link does not name the protocol.
- Matter bridge: TP-Link says H100 compatibility with the Matter bridge is not yet available.
- Thread border router: No Thread claim on the pages we saw.
- Max devices: Up to 64 Tapo devices; TP-Link says the real limit varies by device type.
Before you buy
- TP-Link's FAQ says Matter bridging is not yet available for the H100, even though CSA lists the hub.
- Tapo devices use TP-Link's own 868 MHz link, not Zigbee.
