Tapo H100 (EU) is the hub for TP-Link's Tapo sensors and buttons: up to 64 of them pair over a separate 868/922 MHz link, while the hub itself joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Home Assistant has a built-in integration that talks to it locally. Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa aren't confirmed, because TP-Link says Matter bridging isn't available yet.

|---|---|---|
| Matter | Unconfirmed | CSA lists a TP-Link Systems Smart IoT Hub (family SKU H100, variant KH100, Matter 1.1, Wi-Fi), but TP-Link's UK Matter FAQ (updated August 2026) says H100 compatibility is not yet available. The official sources disagree, so it is not recorded as certified.[2],[3] |
| Apple Home | Unconfirmed | TP-Link says H100 Matter bridging is not yet available, so nothing is confirmed.[2] |
| Google Home | Unconfirmed | The German product page doesn't mention Google Home. |
| Amazon Alexa | Unconfirmed | The German product page doesn't mention Alexa. |
| SmartThings | Unconfirmed | No page found mentions SmartThings for the H100. |
| Home Assistant | Yes | Home Assistant's TP-Link Smart Home integration lists the H100 and H200 as hubs, and lists Tapo S200B, S200D, T100, T110, T300, T310 and T315 as hub-connected devices.[4] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.

- Local control: Home Assistant's integration connects to it locally, without the TP-Link cloud, and polls every 5 seconds. Setup needs your TP-Link account login to authenticate.

- Matter bridge: TP-Link's FAQ says H100 compatibility with the Matter bridge is not yet available.
- Thread border router: No Thread claim on the pages we saw.
- Max devices: Up to 64 Tapo devices; TP-Link says the real limit varies by device type.
Before you buy
- TP-Link's FAQ says Matter bridging is not yet available for the H100, even though CSA lists the hub.
- Sensors and buttons use TP-Link's own 868/922 MHz link, not Zigbee.
- Home Assistant setup needs your TP-Link account login to authenticate.
