Aqara · model WS-K02E · For the US and Canada
- Matter Yes, over Thread
- Apple Home Via Matter
- Google Home Via Matter
- Amazon Alexa Via Matter
- SmartThings Via Matter
- Home Assistant Via Matter
The Aqara Light Switch H2 (US, WS-K02E) is an on/off wall switch with two buttons and one relay channel, and it works with or without a neutral wire. By default it uses Matter over Thread, so Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant can add it without an Aqara hub, given a Thread-capable Matter controller. In Zigbee mode it needs an Aqara hub instead. Power monitoring needs a neutral.

“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.
Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: Runs Matter over Thread by default or Zigbee with an Aqara hub; Bluetooth is for setup.
- Hub: Thread mode needs no Aqara hub, only a Thread border router for the Matter controller. Zigbee mode does need an Aqara Zigbee hub.

- Form: Replaces a US wall switch; single-pole and 3-way setups.
