Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee. Matter over Wi-Fi is the default profile; five button presses switch it to the Zigbee profile. Shelly says the BTHome components are not available in Zigbee mode.
- Hub: Wi-Fi device that pairs through Matter or the Shelly app. Zigbee mode needs a Zigbee coordinator, but the default does not.
- Local control: Shelly lists an embedded web interface and standalone Wi-Fi operation with local actions; Home Assistant's integration uses local push.
- Form: Compact 29 x 34 x 16 mm relay that fits behind sockets and switches.
- Dimmer: On/off relay with power metering, 8 A at 240 V AC; no dimming.
- Needs neutral wire: Shelly's spec lists N and L supply terminals, but no row says neutral is required, so unconfirmed.
