Gen4 is the Shelly Dimmer that adds Matter and Zigbee: the Gen3 has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only, with no confirmed Matter certification. This single-channel trailing-edge module (max 200 W, 150 W for dimmable LEDs) sits behind an existing wall switch and works with or without a neutral wire, like the Gen3. The default firmware is Matter over Wi-Fi, so Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings can add it without a hub. Home Assistant has an official local integration.
