Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: IKEA says Matter over Thread; the CSA listing shows Thread and Bluetooth (Bluetooth for setup).
- Hub: No brand hub. IKEA says a Thread border router is needed to control it from a phone, with DIRIGERA as one example; its manual says IKEA smart products can also pair directly to each other without a smart system.
- Local control: No source seen states it.
- Buttons: IKEA's manual shows button 1 and button 2 for products or scenes (short, double and long press with an IKEA bulb), plus a small system button for pairing and reset. IKEA's kit images show three remotes in different colours.
- Rotary dial: No dial; the BILRESA scroll wheel is a separate product.
- Power: Two AAA (HR03) cells, sold separately; IKEA recommends rechargeable LADDA.
