BILRESA scroll wheel is IKEA's Matter-over-Thread remote with a pressable scroll wheel. It manages three groups of up to ten smart products each. IKEA lists Amazon, Apple, Google, Homey and Samsung systems, and it needs a Thread border router such as DIRIGERA. Two AAA cells power it.

• Radio: IKEA says Matter over Thread; the CSA listing shows Thread and Bluetooth (Bluetooth for setup).
• Hub: No brand hub. IKEA says a Thread border router is needed to control it from a phone, with DIRIGERA as one example; its manual says it can also pair directly with an IKEA smart product and work without any system.
• Local control: No source seen states it.
• Buttons: IKEA doesn't state a button count. The manual describes a pressable scroll wheel, a control under the LEDs that switches between 3 groups, and a system button for pairing. The dual-button BILRESA is a different product.
• Rotary dial: Scroll wheel: IKEA's manual says scrolling dims lights or changes speaker volume. Matter Alpha says most platforms treat rotation as a scene trigger, so relative dimming is hard outside the IKEA app.
• Power: Two AAA (HR03) cells, not included; IKEA recommends rechargeable LADDA and says new ones usually last 24 months.
