Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: Lutron Clear Connect RF, which isn't in our radio list. Lutron's Pico spec sheet gives 431-437 MHz for its PJ2 remotes; it doesn't name the paddle model.
- Hub: Lutron says no hub is needed between a Pico and a Caséta dimmer or switch. A hub is needed for Home Assistant and other app integrations.
- Local control: Pico talks to Caséta devices directly over RF.
- Buttons: Lutron's Pico article lists PJ2-P2B-GWH-L01 as the 2-button paddle (on/off). Retailers sell it as PJ2-P2B-GWH.
- Power: Replaceable; Lutron rates it about 10 years.
Before you buy
- It switches nothing itself; it only controls paired Lutron devices.
- Home Assistant needs a Caséta Smart Hub or Smart Bridge PRO on the network.
