| Platform | Works? | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Matter | Unconfirmed | No CSA listing for the Assure Lock 2 Plus found. Yale's Matter Smart Module is a separate add-on and Yale's Plus FAQ does not mention Matter for this lock. |
| Apple Home | Yes | Apple Home Key is built into the lock (iPhone XS or later on iOS 15+, or Apple Watch Series 4 or later on watchOS 8+). Remote control through Apple Home needs a HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple TV as home hub.[1],[2],[4] |
| Google Home | Yes | Yale says all partner integrations work on Wi-Fi models, and its launch release names Google Home for the Wi-Fi version. Not available on the Bluetooth-only Plus.[2],[4] |
| Amazon Alexa | Yes | Yale's launch release names Alexa voice control for the Wi-Fi version, and its Plus page says partner integrations work on Wi-Fi models only.[2],[4] |
| SmartThings | Unconfirmed | Yale pages seen do not mention SmartThings and the lock has no Matter listing, so we do not mark it 'no'. |
| Home Assistant | Unconfirmed | Home Assistant's August page lists the Assure Lock 2 as working but with a Connect Bridge or doorbell flag set, and community posts say newer Yale Home accounts need the Yale integration. Whether this Wi-Fi model works without extra hardware is not confirmed.[5] |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.

- Local control: Remote control runs through the Yale Access app and cloud; no source confirms local-only control.
- Fit: Replaces the deadbolt on standard US doors. Yale sells the Plus without a key cylinder, and also bundled with Norwood or Ridgefield handles as separate listings.
- Keypad: Touchscreen keypad on the lock. Yale does not list a fingerprint reader on the Plus.
- Power: Four AA alkaline batteries are included, per Yale's store page.
