Specs that matter for setup
- Radio: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n). TP-Link's US datasheet mentions Bluetooth for setup, but we didn't confirm that for the UK model.
- Hub: Wi-Fi plug that joins your router directly and is set up in the Tapo app.
- Local control: TP-Link's Tapo plug FAQ (P100/P105/P110/P115) says the Tapo app can control the plug locally without internet; Smart Actions then need a Tapo hub.
- Energy monitoring: Live and historical energy use in the Tapo app.
- Max load: TP-Link's UK spec sheet: 2990 W, 13 A, 1/6 HP motor, 220-240 V. Tapo's UK page says EV charging isn't supported.
