For UK radiators with M30×1.5 valves, the Kasa KE100 (UK) replaces the thermostatic head and takes 2 AA batteries, which TP-Link says last a whole heating season or over a year. The Kasa Hub KH100 is required for all smart features. Through the hub it works with Alexa and Google Assistant, and a firmware update added Matter for Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings, per TP-Link.

“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.
