Apple Home, SmartThings and Home Assistant reach the Nuki Smart Lock Pro (4th generation) over Matter on Thread, while Google Home and Alexa connect through Nuki Web. Built-in Wi-Fi handles remote access, so no Bridge is needed. It is a retrofit lock that sits on the inside of a Europrofile cylinder, runs on a rechargeable Power Pack (up to 6 months per charge) and has no keypad of its own.

- Radio: Nuki's generations table lists built-in Wi-Fi and Matter over Thread for the Pro. CSA describes the lock as operated manually, via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Matter over Thread.
- Hub: Nuki says Pro models have a built-in Wi-Fi module, so remote access needs no extra accessory such as a Bridge. Matter control needs a Thread border router.
- Local control: No Nuki source describes offline or local-only control explicitly.
- Fit: Mounts on the inside of the door over the existing Europrofile cylinder. The key only works from outside if the cylinder has an emergency function; Nuki sells a Universal Cylinder for doors whose cylinder does not.
