The battery is built in and recharges in about two hours; there is no keypad on the lock. Home Assistant is not confirmed.

| Matter | Yes, over Thread | CSA lists 'Nuki Smart Lock Pro' (hardware 10.00, firmware 1.4.1, certified 2025-11-18) with no generation label, separate from the 4th Gen Pro listings (hardware 7.x). Nuki's generations table marks Matter over Thread for the Pro (5th Gen).[2],[6] Other Matter smart locks |

| Amazon Alexa | Via Matter | Matter over Thread, which needs a Thread border router. Nuki also documents a Nuki Web skill for Alexa; not checked for this generation.[1],[3] |
| SmartThings | Via Matter | Nuki names Samsung SmartThings as a Matter-over-Thread platform; a Thread border router is needed.[1],[3] |
| Home Assistant | Unconfirmed | Home Assistant's Nuki page seen covers 4th generation locks; no official source names the 5th-gen Pro. A forum thread reports Matter commissioning problems, which is not an official source. |
“Via Matter” means you add it with that platform's Matter controller instead of a brand skill or app. “Unconfirmed” means we couldn't find an official source either way. How we verify.
