Two table or floor lamps can share the Caséta PD-3PCL, a plug-in lamp dimmer with a dual receptacle; no wiring is needed. Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant all reach it through the Caséta Smart Bridge (now Smart Hub). On its own it works locally with Pico remotes and sensors. It dims 100 W of LED or CFL, or 300 W of incandescent and halogen.

Specs that matter for setup
- Radio
- Unconfirmed[2]
- Radio: The dimmer uses Lutron's own Clear Connect RF radio, which isn't Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, Z-Wave or Bluetooth, so none of our radio values fit.
- Hub: Lutron says remote control, scheduling, scenes and app programming need the Smart Bridge (now Smart Hub). Without it the dimmer works locally and pairs with up to 10 Pico remotes and sensors.
- Local control: Home Assistant's integration talks to the bridge over the local network (local push). Lutron's spec says the dimmers always operate locally.
- Form: Not a wall switch or in-wall module: it plugs into an outlet and has a dual receptacle for two lamps. "module" is the closest value in our schema.
- Dimmer: Up to 100 W of dimmable LED or CFL and 300 W of incandescent or halogen; 10 W minimum load.
- Needs neutral wire: Plugs into a standard outlet; no wiring.
- Gangs / channels: Two receptacles; dims up to two plug-in lamps together.
Before you buy

- LED and CFL loads are capped at 100 W and the bulbs must be dimmable; the minimum load is 10 W.
